Involv 4.5 Release
User Menu – Notifications
We have added a “Notifications” category to the user menu. Users will receive alerts for new mandatory read messages. Once a notification is read, it will disappear, but users can still review these messages later.
Involv poll update
We’ve enhanced our poll feature to allow users to change their vote after submission. Results are now displayed as percentages, providing a clearer understanding of poll outcomes and improving user engagement.
These updates in Involv 4.5 are designed to streamline operations, enhance communication, and improve user interaction. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to innovate and improve your intranet experience.
Mandatory Read – Read Receipt
A new feature allows you to enable manual read receipts for news articles. When enabled, readers must confirm if they’ve read the article. If not acknowledged, the article remains in their mandatory read section, allowing administrators to monitor readership. This feature ensures that important information is acknowledged and tracked effectively.
Valo Support
We have optimized our platform to facilitate the transition for Valo customers to Involv. Our specialized features include seamless multilingual support, allowing Valo users to effortlessly transfer their translated pages. They also have the option to maintain their existing multilingual functionality for future articles. Additionally, we have integrated Valo FAQs and apps into our platform to enhance user experience and streamline the migration process.

Search Scopes
You can now specify the range of your search. Limited your search to a specific intranet site or include all content on all intranet sites. This makes it easier and faster than ever to find exactly what you’re looking for.
Involv Cast Configurator
You can now easily configure your digital signage screens layout. You can create a multi-zone layout, set the size of each zone and configure how the components are displayed in each zone. The preview option allows you to see what the screen will look like before publishing.
Auto-translated new updated content
The Multilingual feature just got more powerful. With a single click, you can now update and autotranslate all other translated pages, eliminating the need to manually update each individual page. This saves a significant amount of time and effort, especially when you have multiple pages in different languages.

New user interface for content admin panel
The user interface of the content admin panel has been completely revamped to give you a modern and minimalist look that’s super easy to use. Managing your intranet sites will be a breeze with loads of visual enhancements and new interface elements, such as toggle buttons and icons. Adding, deleting, and editing items in the content admin panel is faster than ever.
You’ll also find this new UI in managing your intranet navigation.
Improved analytic center
We’ve improved and added new features to our analytics center. You’ll see improvements in the dashboard and content and sites analytics.
Additionally, you will also have access to new insights into your intranet, such as search analytics, profile analytics, intranet heatmaps, reports for notifications, mandatory reads, incidents, and reported comments.
Notification subscription center
As an intranet visitors, you’ll be able to customize your notification preferences for each type of content you want to receive updates for. Pick and choose the notification channel that works best for you, whether it’s desktop, mobile, email, or Teams, and never miss an update again.

– When clicking the “+” sign multiple times it added the amount of rows inside the list as extra lines. This has been fixed.
– We’ve improved the translation in French and the order is now displayed correctly.
– Resolved the issue where the target audience didn’t work. - Global Navigation: In some cases, the navigation didn’t reload when refreshing the page. This has been fixed.
